Flint River Ranch Senior Dog Food
Flint River Ranch Senior Dog Food is formulated with 1/3 less protein
and fat, is made from the same ingredients as our regular adult food
and is oven-baked. However, because the ingredients mix to reduce
fat and protein, it will generally appear lighter in color. It is
best fed to very overweight or lethargic dogs. Protein is 16% minimum,
fat is 8% minimum.
Use the lower fat and calories of this formulation for senior and
less active dogs when deemed appropriate by your veterinarian. The
Flint River Ranch formula is TWICE OVEN-BAKED under carefully controlled
conditions and temperatures - resulting in better nutrition, palatability
and digestibility for your pet. The ultimate in premium nutrition!
This item is shipped in bags of 20 pounds or less for customer convenience.

Feeding Guide
Because the Senior Kibble is high density, you feed 20%-25% less
than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without
fillers, so you'll also notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up.
It is better to introduce Super Premium foods by mixing with your
dogs usual food and increasing the amount of Flint River Ranch over
several days. It will take time for your dog to adjust to the rich,
easy to digest, Super Premium quality.
A sudden change in any food source may be a shock to your dog's
digestive system. You may notice loose stool. If so, reduce the amount
being fed until your dog adjusts.
Feed your dog once or twice a day. Food requirements vary depending
on climate, breed of dog and exercise activity. Feed an amount that
will maintain your dog's weight.
20-30 lbs: 1.0 to 1.5 Cups
40-50 lbs: 2.0 to 2.2 Cups
60-70 lbs: 2.5 to 3.2 Cups
80-99 lbs: 3.5 to 4.7 Cups
Health Food for Dogs
When you buy dog food, you're looking for nutrition. Studies have
shown that dogs were required to eat 2 to 4 times as much of an economy
brand than a premium food to provide proper nutrition. FLINT RIVER
RANCH high density dog food will be cheaper to feed than other food
costing less. You will be able to see the difference in your dog's
healthy skin, coat and energy level. Healthy nutrition can also mean
less medical bills.
