FLINT RIVER RANCH TESTIMONIALS
(Excerpts from collected testimonials)

The cocker I have now was on Beneful before I switched to Flint River Ranch and even at TWICE the amount the bag recommended I feed he was STILL losing weight. The Vet couldn't find anything physically wrong with him, other than his pre-existing condition of epilepsy, but now that he's on FRR, he's back up to a healthy weight and darned active.

A while back someone had mentioned the connection between carbs and cancer. There is an article in the Energy Times, May 2003, stating the same.

Recommendations by Greg Ogilvie, DVM and Kathy L. Mitchener, DVE, Veterinary Oncologist, "believe that cutting your pet's consumption of carbs and increasing their dietary beneficial fats may help them live longer."

You can find Energy Times at your local health food store or for a reprint of the article call 631-777-7773 (CA). The article also reinforces the need for an all-natural diet. They recommended a "high-end chicken, turkey or lamb diet"

It was anal glands that made me try Flint River Ranch. Then because I was so impressed, I became a Distributor. Excerpt, from my testimonial:

I know about this subject because after countless vet bills with no resolution I finally decided to take matters into my own hand and find out "the truth" about pet foods. It will shock and disgust you. No wonder my dog, fed her vet-recommended Nutro, was suffering from excessive shedding, constant diarrhea and vomiting, impacted anal glands, etc. They told me she had "allergies" and must be put on a special diet - NOT!! My baby girl is a tough girl and the only time I ever see or hear her cry out is when her anal glands were expressed. After much research I stumbled onto Flint River Ranch. It has been consistently rated as a top ranking food in all the major pet journals and magazines and by progressive Vets nationwide. I am happy to say that since switching to Flint River Ranch, all, yes all of her digestive issues have ceased. Unfortunately, due to past vet mishandling one of her anal glands is now slightly damaged and although no longer infected, we still have to manually drain it every three months. A great improvement from the $20.00 - $35.00 I was paying every 3 weeks in the past. Regardless of whether or not you go with Flint River, I urge all other pet owners to research exactly what you are feeding your pet and switch to a high quality food. The price for feeding is usually the same or less than commercial foods, because you can feed less because it does not have all the extra junk and fillers. The changes in health will amaze you!!!

We are now at our 6-month mark and are still anal glands free!!!

Training treats: I do a lot of obedience and agility competition (AKC) and use ONLY FRR food, or occasionally Jubilee Wafers broken up for training treats. The nuggets work well because they are not crumbly in my pocket. My dogs love the food so much that I have absolutely no need to give them anything gooey/chewing like liver, turkey, meat or cheese. I tell all my competition students the same thing, although some are still conditioned to go out and buy special treats for training.

I have a 9 year old Sealyham terrier that has arthritis. He has been on the regular FRR kibble since he was a youngster and I have switched him to the Senior Plus about 8 months ago. No problems, as a matter of fact, he runs around the house or I should say nearly flies around the house and up and down the stairs now. When we moved here from Wisconsin from California in October, he could not even go up or down the stairs.

I too have had customers leave and then come back. They like what FRR does for their pets and they can't get that with the other brands. I have two rotties that eat 3 cups per day each. The seven year old is 85 lbs and very active, the other one is 110 lbs, old, slow and doesn't do much of anything. I took the seven year old this morning for her annual check-up. The Vet could not believe she was seven (even though he's been treating her for four years! He told me she looks like she's two. No one brand is perfect for every pet, but when FRR works for animals, it works!

"It is the responsibility of the breeder to give the pups they so willingly choose to bring into this world the best possible start."

I emphatically agree with this statement. As a breeder I have tried numerous foods over the years, many before I became educated about the differences in pet foods. While high quality foods cost more than others and may be very expensive for breeders due to the amount of food used, to me the benefits definitely outweigh the additional costs.

After switching to FRR and making no other additional changes to anything in my breeding program the birth weight increased in every litter. The need to supplement babies in the first few weeks decreased dramatically, losses in the first three weeks decreased, minor illnesses common in young babies decreased and recovery time was shorter when they did occur. Weight gain after birth increased slightly on a daily bases and the mothers overall condition during pregnancy and lactation was better (especially the ability to keep weight up when nursing a litter). These are all very positive change for both me (cut down on some work) and my animals that are healthier and less stressed. I am confident when I place a pet with a family that I have given it the best start in life possible. For me this is important and worth the extra expense in a serious breeding program. My animals "did well" on Iams, Eukaneuba, etc, and I could switch back, but they do much, much better on FRR.

I have told you about my girl before, but let's do it again. She is a 3 year old doxie who was bitten on the head as a pup and now has a disfigured nose and jaw. For the first 2 years it was impossible to find anything she could eat enough of to get her weight up and maintain it, including canned food. She was always underweight, dull dry coat - the ugly duckling at the farm!

Then we were introduced to FRR (thank you!!) Within 2 weeks our little bag of bones blossomed. She had gained nearly a pound, her coat shone like a new penny and all on about ½ cup a day!!. Today she is nearly overweight and has just raised a litter of 4 puppies, now 6 ½ weeks old and she has more than maintained her weight while nursing them!

We feel all our dogs (15 little yappers) FRR topped with Ultra Dry Water and our puppies are raised on the same.
All puppies go to their new homes with a supply of FRR and UDW. Although I haven't had good results with keeping those pups on FRR (probably my lack of follow up) I do know they got the best start possible!!!

Junk, yep the dogs will eat it up and yep, they'll survive? They just won't blossom to their fullest! I thought I was breeding and selling good pups before - NOW WITH FRR I KNOW I AM.

When I got my dog as a pup, the breeder sent her along with some Pedigree. I had fed her two bags worth of Purina Pro Plan Puppy. Both gave her gas. Put her on FRR and we've never looked back.

I am presently feeding my dogs FRR. I've had great results with it actually. It has stabilized Noah's increasing weight problem and the other two love it. I had a real problem finding a food that all three dogs would eat and do well on and finally found Flint River as the key, Yahoo!!!
