Embark's all human-grade ingredients include USDA hormone-free turkey, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, spinach, carrots, coconut, apples, kelp, eggs, sesame seeds, bananas, cranberries, rosemary as a preservative, vitamins and minerals.

Embark is completely balanced to meet the AAFCO nutrient profiles for all life stages including the nutritional requirements for puppies and active dogs.

This diet is made with limited carbohydrates and high protein to support muscle structure and function, and promote lean body mass. It is particularly suited to puppies and more active dogs and is ideal for those who are intolerant of grains.

Preparation:
No cooking required! Each 4 oz cup of Embark should simply be hydrated with 1.25 to 1.5 cups of pure, warm, filtered or tap water, or boiled water that has been allowed to cool. It is best not to add boiling water directly to Embark as this will destroy many of the enzymes & nutrients present. Add the water to the food and stir well. The product will initially resemble soup. Let stand for 10 minutes minimum, for the ingredients to rehydrate sufficiently. Add your own raw meat, meaty bones, cooked meat or other ingredients, if you wish.

Each standard measuring cup of dehydrated food weighs about 4 oz and will hydrate to make 1lb of fresh food. Half to one cup of extra meat or other ingredients may be mixed in with each cup of food, once hydrated.

Packaging
All foods are sold in a transparent, tamper-evident, hinged-lid container that snaps shut between uses to fully protect the contents. Our containers are fully recyclable or re-usable in the home and have convenient carry-handles.
